Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or placing a trade on Prophit (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) and legally able to enter binding contracts. The Service is not available in jurisdictions where it is prohibited.

3. Account responsibility

You are responsible for safeguarding your password. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized account access where reasonable security on your end was not maintained.

4. Trading

Markets on the Service use a Logarithmic Market Scoring Rule (LMSR). All trades reprice the market and may move the displayed price against you. All trades are final once executed.

• Play-money trades do not represent real currency and have no cash value.
• Real-money trades require KYC verification and are subject to deposit/withdrawal rails.
• A 2% fee applies to each real-money trade.

5. Resolution & payouts

Markets resolve via the resolution sources listed on each market page. Once resolved, winning shares pay out at $1 each; losing shares pay nothing. Operator decisions on edge cases are final unless successfully disputed within the listed window.

6. Withdrawals

Withdrawals are processed to verified beneficiaries (bank account or crypto wallet) only. Processing times vary by rail (instant to 3 business days). We may delay or block withdrawals to investigate suspected fraud or sanctions exposure.

7. Prohibited activity

• Market manipulation, wash trading, self-dealing.
• Multiple accounts per person.
• Use of automated systems to gain an unfair advantage without prior written permission.
• Trading on markets where you have insider information not reflected in the public source.

8. Termination

We may suspend or close accounts for violation of these terms. Remaining balances will be returned to your verified beneficiary subject to AML checks.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Prediction markets carry risk; you may lose your entire stake. Prophit is not investment advice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prophit and its operators shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

11. Changes

We may update these terms with at least 14 days' notice for material changes. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
